Maintaining Operational Continuity

All of ACR's commercial clients share an urgent need to maintain operational continuity within their business, whether the risk comes from planned or unplanned events. Much of that protection comes in the form of the physical structure in which they operate. When that structure is compromised, either by planned services that can require lost use of spaces, mess and noise, or by unplanned, emergency services required after a disaster, our clients need help to maintain operational continuity to the greatest extent possible.

UNPLANNED EVENTS

PLANNED EVENTS

Damage from water, fire and smoke, mold and trauma scenes can inflict a crushing blow to operational continuity. The cascading breakdown of business operations that even relatively small losses cause includes potential reduction of revenue through lost rental unit inventory, tenant displacement and interruption of supply chain, production stoppage and so much more.

Each ACR client category bears its own unique continuity risks, and ACR has considered all of these in our approach to your pre-loss planning, emergency response and client-centric service and communication. The central hub of this preservation of operational continuity is our dedication to restorative cleaning and drying, which eliminates unneeded tear-out and reconstruction, when mitigation-only restoration can return the property to pre-loss condition.

Capital improvement projects and remodeling also pose potential disruptions that can throw operational continuity off track. Loss of use and  operational expense can be reduced greatly, but only if a purpose-driven project management approach is enabled.

For non-emergency work like capital improvements and remodeling, the risk is tied directly to inconvenience and disruption for those living or working in or near the work zone.

Maintaining operational continuity in these cases hinges upon intentional steps to isolate the work zone to the greatest degree possible from ongoing activities.

Our mutual goal is to address the needed mitigation and recovery while simultaneously doing everything possible to maintain operational continuity, minimizing the secondary losses that are interconnected consequences of the damage.
